As part of AIA's Annual Archtober events, the American Institute of Architects is joining forces with the Rubin Center for the Visual Arts for their Family Day event, which will be hosted at Chalk the Block in El Paso's Downtown Arts District. We will be co-hosting a Lego Bricks Build-A-Thon where kids, ages 4 and up will be given an opportunity to build El Paso's landmark buildings and structures. Each session will begin with a short presentation highlighting El Paso architecture with a brief introduction of concepts, place, space, planning and design. This event is free and open to the public. Space is limited, so plan to arrive early. Hope to see you there!
This event is sponsored by AIA El Paso, The Stanlee & Gerald Rubin Center for the Visual Arts and The El Paso Community Foundation.
